Did you hear me on Jackalope radio?

If you did, I want to know!  Just leave a comment and feel free to scroll down and check out some of my sculptures.

Good Time at Planet Comicon

Overall, it went very well!  I met a lot of cool people and had some great sales.  Contact Marty at www.godbeast.com because I have some stuff leftover.  Hope to put up some photos soon.

Planet comicon on saturday

Should be fun, its been kind of chaotic arranging things (mainly being arranged by my friend Joe who will be at the table with me) but I hope to see those of you who can make it there!  I will have the Grumpy Dumpty guys left after chicago and hopefully a few other things, like the ghosts. Here is a picture Marty Hanson took of the grumpy dumpties that I thought looked pretty great.

Gruuuug....

Very tired.  Things are busy, and I am not looking like I will have too many items at C2E2, but I am trying hard.  1 all nighter followed by a 3 hour night of sleep followed by another all nighter, I'm a wreck.  But hopefully I can get some images up once I have a chance.  Right now I need to get back to castin' stuff.  Hope to see some of you there!

Also, check out my girlfriends character, Misfit Mel, based on a favorite cat she had!  She planned this a little better and is currently sleeping...

going to C2E2 and Kansas City Comic Con

I just saw I have 666 visitors, yikes!   Anyway, I've been busy with commissions for companies that I can't show here until they are publicly unveiled.  But I am making some more stuff for these shows now, and hopefully they will be ready in time.  Here is one, i saw a plastic easter egg and got an idea...

Grumpy Dumpty, vengeful son of his fallen father Humpty!

2 ghouls

Here they are, 2 ghostly ghoulish guys.  2 more to come, hopefully soon.  I need to do a lot more work on the next 2 before i can show them ..

Pictures soon of 2 of the 4 figures

I guess I missed the Friday update. I may try to update on weekends instead. I am doing some restoring still but should have 2 of the figures presentable soon like Tuesday or Wednesday. Meanwhile, no guesses on what they are? Maybe I should have offered some kind of prize... except I know there are a few people out there who know what they are.

I'm back!

I haven't posted for a while, sorry folks! I think I will try to post something every Friday no matter what, even if I don't really have much to say. I have been busy with the holidays and various projects, including sending a portfolio to a movie studio and working on a game project with my brother. Marty (who helped me with this blog, thanks dude!) is gonna call me about remolding something strange I did before I became pro. Its a set of four, but I only barely started the fourth one so I have a little more sculpting to do. It will be fun to recapture the spirit of innocent pre-income artwork. I will update later to give you more info, but for now let's just say I hope you're not afraid of them...

Big headed guy

Here is a personal sculpt i made.  It was figured out organically by just messing around with a lump of clay and it became a face and skull structure that i really liked.  Big on brain (and age), small on brawn.  I hope to expand on this guy cuz I originally imagined him hooked up to bizarre life support equipment, like he is kept unnaturally alive.

I think he was subconsciously influenced by characters like Davros and Leader, and 50's style aliens.

This guy got pretty gross when I added the hair...

God of War Kratos Sculpt

This is a God of War Kratos review of a sculpt I did for NECA around 2007.
